Living // Cinnamon Sugar Apple Crescent Rolls Recipe

Got a taste for apple pie but don't feel like taking the time to bake the whole pie? Then these bite sized Cinnamon Sugar Apple Crescent Rolls will do just the trick. 

A couple apples, a package of crescent rolls and some cinnamon sugar and you will be enjoying some sweet apple (kind of) pie in under 25 minutes.

Ingredients:
1.5 cups sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
3 tbsp melted butter
2 medium apples

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Melt butter and cut apples into wedges. Open and divide crescent rolls.

Lay out one triangle and brush with melted butter than sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Place 1 to 2 apple wedges at wide end of triangle and roll.

Place rolled apple crescent rolls are parchment lined cookie sheet. Brush remaining melted butter on top of rolls and sprinkle with the last of the cinnamon and sugar.

Bake rolls in oven for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on your oven, or until golden brown.

  2. Made these tonight and they were scrumptious! I don't think that the 1.5 cups of sugar is the right amount though. I used a LOT less than that. I ended up mixing 1 cup of sugar with 3 tsp of cinnamon and had probably 1/2 cup of the mixture left over. I just put it in a shaker to use on cinnamon toast! (Or to make more of these!!) Thanks!
