I’m not going to lie; one of the things I can’t stand the most is double denim. But, looking at Miranda Kerr, I’m having my doubts. She just makes it look so good!

The key here is to mix a chambray shirt (which is denim like, but not quite) with a light pair of denim. Do not, and I repeat, do not match the shades.

If, like 99 percent of the population, you aren't a Victoria's Secret model and want to de-emphasize your bottom half, I suggest switching the shades and wearing darker denim on bottom, which slims and elongates your legs, and wearing a lighter shade on top.

  1. Love this! I've been wearing a variation of it for weeks now!

  2. I don't know... I'm still anti-double denim. I'm pretty much anti-denim anyways, though. I have one pair of jeans and they are SUPER dark wash. Denim jackets give me the shivers.... and not in a good way. I think the closest I've come would be these tops and one of them isn't even denim.

    1. I usually am, too, like I said. I have been branching out recently though and wearing my chambray shirt with black or white denim, which isn't quite as bad I think. -- SC
