Samantha Chic: Fresh Finds: EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream

Fresh Finds: EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream

What it is: Evolution of Smooth Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream

What they say: Delight your skin with 24 hours of deep, ultra soothing moisture every time you shave. Rich, non-foaming eos shave cream is packed with natural conditioning oils, shea butter and antioxidant vitamins E and C to provide 24 hours of ultra-soothing moisture.

How to use:  Apply thin layer to legs, underarms or bikini. Shave. Touch. Smile.

What I think: I’ve used cheap-o shaving foam for years (sometimes even buying men’s kind at the dollar store!), but then I got a sample of a super luxe shave cream, which I really loved. Unfortunately, it was $20 a bottle – for something that’s literally going down the drain!

I can’t justify that so my hunt to find a similar one that won’t make my wallet cry began and I found eos – evolution of smooth.

Their formula is nearly identical to the luxe brand, which shall remain unnamed, and costs like 1/5 of the price.

My legs usually get super irritated when shaving, but this brand has helped decrease the amount of razor burn, nicks and cuts I’ve suffered. I’ve always needed to shave every day, but now I don’t dread it like I used to in the past.

One down side is that it’s sometimes hard to see where you still need to shave and I’ve found a hair strip on my thigh on occasion before.

That being said though, one to two pumps is really all you need per leg to get an ultra-smooth shave with minimal irritation.

Buy it online:  Evolution of Smooth $3.49 for 7 oz bottle.

  1. Thank you so much for this review! I have given up on shaving creams, haha that's how bad it has gotten for me. I love eos brand and had no idea they had a shaving cream!! By chance, is it all natural like the rest of their products? Sincerely, (super sensitive skin girl) ellese

    1. Hi Ellese,

So glad you loved the review! I know how tough it can be when you have sensitive skin! I don't see anywhere on the bottle or online that it's 100% all natural; however, it does say it contains "natural conditioning oils, shea butter and antioxidant vitamins E and C" and is also paraben-free and phthalate-free. Hope this helps.

Let me know if you try it and what you think!
