Fresh Finds: Supergoop SPF 35 Daily Correct CC Cream

What it is: Supergoop SPF 35 Daily Correct CC Cream

What they say: A multivitamin for your skin, this light and silky cream protects, corrects, smoothes, and nourishes with specially formulated health properties.

How to use: Apply generously and as needed to even out skin tone and correct imperfections.

What I think: I’ve never been one for thick foundation but tinted moisturizer just didn’t cut it.

So, I jumped on the BB Cream bandwagon as soon as it became popular here and tried at least half a dozen brands. While they were much better foundations that clogged up my pores, I still wasn’t quite as happy as I knew I could be.

Thankfully, the letters CC began floating around by then and I got a sample of this cream in my April Birchbox. I bought it immediately after using up the sample because I loved it so much.

I’ve found this CC cream isn’t as thick as BB creams but (somehow) provides more coverage and better application, not to mention the higher SPF factor.

They also are supposed to have more benefits than BB creams, especially in the anti-aging department. Now, at 24-years-old anti-aging isn’t a major concern, but I do find my skin looks healthier when I use it.

When applying, I tend to mix my CC cream with my day moisturizer (1. So it’s not too thick and 2. Because it’s one less step), but even applying it straight to my face is fine as well.

A little bit goes a long way and it has definite staying power. Even if you’re someone who needs or prefers more coverage, I’d definitely work this product in as a base for all the benefits it provides.

Buy it online: Supergoop $32 for 1.6 oz. bottle.
