Fresh Finds: Yes To Tomatoes Acne Control Gel Cleanser

What it is: Yes To Tomatoes Acne Control Gel Cleanser

What they say: Yes To Tomatoes Acne Control Gel Cleanser is a refreshing, salicylic acid based cleanser that leaves skin feeling radiant and clean.

Salicylic acid helps prevent new blemishes, acne and pimples from forming, while tomatoes help unclog pores and control oil production in skin.

Not only will you have a pep to your step after using this cleanser, but most importantly you’ll have radiant blemish-free looking skin.

How to use: Squeeze a dollop into hands and lather with warm water. Rinse, do a cheesy move in front of the mirror as you admire your clear skin.

What I think: Now that I’m in my mid-twenties, there’s nothing more frustrating that adult acne popping up from time-to-time.

I’ve always had very oily skin that needs a lot of extra care, but recently I’ve been noticing my regular cleansers (yes, plural!) were just feeling so harsh and drying – no radiance to be seen.

So I put my journalism skills to good use and began researching alternatives, which lead me to switch out my normal shower face cleanser for this one.

I love that it is almost 100 percent natural base and has an ingredient list much shorter than a lot of others.

The gel cleanser feels more refreshing than and not as harsh as other types of products and the salicylic acid is just enough to fight off blemishes without stripping away what feels like the top layer of my skin.

I use this cleanser every time I’m in the shower (I have a separate daily cleanser) and am still surprised weeks later just how great my skin feels after using it.

Buy it online: Yes To Tomatoes $9.99 for 5.25 oz bottle.
