Samantha Chic: Fresh Finds: Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15

Fresh Finds: Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15

What it is: Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15

What they say: A perfect oil free blend of skin-loving ingredients and added vitamins, Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 moisturizes with a light, non-greasy feel and helps protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays. Perfect even for sensitive skin.

How to use: Apply liberally and evenly to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure.

What I think: With fairly oily skin, I’ve had a hard time finding a good daytime moisturizer (I use Garnier as a night cream, which you can read here) and typically steered towards those labeled “shine control.”

In the past few months though, I’ve been really trying to watch what I put on my face and lean toward more natural products.

This product lived up to the “Simple” hype and has kept my skin moisturized without breaking out or causing irritation.

I mostly use it during the day since it has SPF, something else I’ve been trying to be more aware of – so this is the best of both worlds for me. I will also mix it with my CC cream so it’s not as thick on my face.

Perhaps the biggest selling point for me is that it is fragrance free. There’s nothing more annoying to me than having a heavy (and sometimes unpleasant) scent linger on your skin or clothes for hours and hours.

Buy it online: Simple Skincare $12.99 for 4.2 oz bottle.
