What it is: Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

What they say: A Suki essentials product perfect for almost all skin types, our invigorating essential oil blend energizes while our uniquely effective natural sugar crystals, powdered rice and 100% pure foamers work together to soften and transform every skin type. A perfect stimulating start to your skincare regime. This product is vegan.

How to use:  Wet palms. Massage between palms to activate foaming action. Apply in circular motion into facial skin and décolleté, avoiding eye area.

Rinse and follow with Suki concentrated facial toner and moisturizer of choice. Use once per day or two to three times a week depending on skin’s sensitivity.

What I think:  I originally got a sample of this product in my monthly Birchbox and really, really loved it – the fresh scent, how smooth my face felt – until I went to buy a full-size one and saw the price.

Granted, there are products that cost a lot more, but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to purchase it, especially when I feel there are other products that give the same result without making my wallet cry.

That being said, this is a really good product. It was gentle enough to use several times a week without causing my skin to be red and inflamed. It rinses away easily leaving my skin with a smooth and clean feeling.

The scent was probably the best part. I usually hate lemon scented products (they remind me of household cleaners!), but this one was great and I actually wanted to use it regularly to leave my skin with that light lemony scent.

One downside is that it turns to foam pretty quickly. So if you have a problem blemish, definitely make sure to rub there first to make sure the exfoliates do their job before turning to foam.

Maybe one day, I’ll make the investment, but for now, I’m OK with passing.

Buy it online:  Smallflower $32.95 for 4 oz. jar
