Samantha Chic: Best of NYFW Fall 2014 Shows

Best of NYFW Fall 2014 Shows

Perhaps it's the current cold weather predicament I'm in, but the Fall 2014 shows on display at New York Fashion Week have got me (kind of) looking forward to bundling up again later this year and also stepping up my work wardrobe game!

Here's a few of my favorite looks...

Jenny Packham, otherwise known as "who knew a sweatshirt could be so luxe looking?" This show was the definition of "luxury casual." With it's mix of textures, fabrics, and colors, Jenny Packham proved to the world that something as iconically comfy as the sweatshirt could still be luxurious. I'm lusting after these looks!

Kate Spade, one of my favorite designers, brought us workwear chic and dressy flats, something we all can be eternally grateful for. Her collection had a lot of the same whimsy that we've come to expect, but these classic, tailored pieces really caught my eye for their subtle, but timeless nature.

Christian Siriano kept things on the darker side bringing us classic blacks, deep emeralds and shimmering purples. What made this line interesting is the shape of the clothes, how they drape, the different textures. Together, they form a perfect union.

So, while we're waiting for the fall lines to hit the stores, get a start on spring shopping and tell me what we some of your favorite looks for Fall 2014 in the comments below.

Let's keep in touch...
