Fresh Finds: Memebox Oriental Medicine Box review & {PROMO CODE}

As you guys know, I'm a big fan of subscription boxes. So, clearly I was excited when I was invited to review Memebox -- a South Korean beauty box, with prices ranging from $15 to $23 all the way up to $90.

This month, I received the Memebox Oriental Medicine Box. Here's what was inside... Psst! There's also a discount offer at the bottom!

D’RAN Wonder Serum
What they say: Made from 20 different Korean medicina a herbs, such as ginseng, black hoof mushrooms, licorice, portulaca, and ganoderma, the Wonder Serum delivers abundant nutrients and moisture deep into your skin to erase those years off your face for a revitalized, glowing complexion

– What I think: I’ve never used something this potent on my face before, so I actually tested a small area first. There was no reaction so I started slathering it on at night. It has a nice, silky finish and my skins feels really dewy and moisturized in the morning. On the downside, it does have a strong medicinal smell.

Purederm Korean Herb Mask
– What they say: Enriched with organic Korean herb extracts, these masks each carry their own functions according to the various ingredients utilized. They’re all high in vitamin E and collagen to maintain the moisture/oil balance in your skin. Also, the mask is thick enough to deliver sufficient nutrients in a short time.

– What I think: These were so luxurious! You look like you’re wearing a Jason Halloween mask, but who cares! I covered my face, laid in the tub for about 20 minutes, and came out relaxed with a refreshed face.

Donginbi Donginbidam Red Ginseng Aqua Oil & Red Ginseng Aqua Pack Essence
– What they say: Donginbi is a super-premium brand only found in Korean beauty department stores. The red ginseng extracts have powerful medicinal formulas that effectively soothe and lock in moisture, ultimately making your skin silkier and smoother.

– What I think: Wasn't too sure what these were or how to use them at first. Can't say I've noticed too much of a difference, but my skin does feel silky.

Hanhui CC Cream
– What they say: This unique CC cream is infused with red ginseng extracts, cactus extracts, and galactomyces fermented extracts to make your skin silky smooth and shine with a natural glow from within. It’s not like a BB cream in that it brightens up your skin tone. A CC cream works to even out and cover up visible pores and fine lines on your face, controlling your complexion to look its most natural yet flawless in its imperfections.

– What I think: This one makes me a little nervous because the bottle says “whitening” on it, and my skin is super fair already (the lightest shades available are too dark most of the time!). So far, so good though. It does have a sheen to it that reflects the light and brightens your whole face.

Shib Jang Ceng Chung Ji Heang Hand Cream
– What they say: Made from 110 years old wild ginseng extracts, shea butter, and olive oil, this hand cream is extremely rich in nutrients and delivers deep revitialization to your dry, easily-roughened hands. Its highly moisturizing formula allows for a fast, soft absorbance and a long-lasting finish.

– What I think: It has a nice floral-y scent (a little on the stronger side for me, but I'm a bit sensitive to smells). But it has a really light & velvety texture that I like a lot. It soaks right in!
