Samantha Chic: Style // November 2014 Stitch Fix review

Style // November 2014 Stitch Fix review

This month marks my 7th Stitch Fix box (Sign up here). As most of you know, I was really disappointed in last month's box, so I was pleasantly surprised this time around.

This was the first month I seriously considered keeping the entire box, but I didn't. I honestly liked all the items a lot!

Here's what I got in my box. The pieces ranged from $28 to $78 each for a total of $296. After the $20 styling fee and 25% discount, the whole box could be purchased for $207.

Zad Cassy Hallowed Clover Long Necklace $28 | STATUS: Kept

This came at the perfect time! I've recently been thinking that I have a lot of shorter necklaces and statement necklaces, but nothing long. So I was happy to find this in my box. The clovers are a nice, delicate touch.

Kut From the Kloth Jonathan Corduroy Skinny Pant $68 | STATUS: Kept

I love every Kut From the Kloth pair of pants they send -- they fit me perfectly! And these are no exception. I hated corduroy pants as a kid, but I have one pair I wear to work in the winter now. I loved the deep wine color of these though so they're a keeper.
Olive & Oak Kanani Chevron Pattern Sweater $68 | STATUS: Sent Back

I liked this sweater a lot, but I didn't love it for the price. I already own a few sweaters in this color that are different styles as well. Overall, not worth it at this time.

41Hawthorn Netta Classic Trench $78 | STATUS: Sent Back

The stylist said she sent this along, even though I declined outerwear in my profile, because it reminded her of a pin I have of Pippa Middelton and thought it would be fun to try on and style. I though it was fun and I did consider keeping it. The material was very thin, which would be great for spring, but not so much now.

41Hawthorn Natasha Front Pocket Sleeveless Blouse $54| STATUS: Kept

I say this at least once during my reviews: This is more than I'd usually pay for a shirt, but I liked the color and fit a lot. So I kept it. I especially liked mixing them with the pants -- as recommended in the style notes -- to punch up my winter color scheme. I tend to wear a lot of black!

So, that was my 7th box! Tell me what you think about Stitch Fix in the comments below. If you're interested in Stitch Fix, you can sign up here!
