What it is: The Balm Stainiac
What they say: Stainiac “hint of tint” works with all skin tones. Fear not those dreaded streaks most tints leave behind - Stainiac’s aloe-infused gel-based formula is designed to give you more time before the stain sets.
How to use: Dab just a touch on your Cheeks and Lips; layer to pop the color.
What I think: I had never tried a lip or cheek stain before so I was interested to see how this product would work. Let's be honest - we're all pressed for time (and I'm not a morning person at all), so anything that does double duty is a good thing.
I was pretty impressed with this product. I was a little worried at first that the color would be too matchy-matchy on both lips & cheeks.
It has a nice sheer tint that you can build. I applied a few small dots along the apples of my cheek then blended with my fingers. For lips, I just applied similar to a gloss.
The color is very natural, like your own natural color & flush - just enhanced.
The product dried quickly and stayed put, which was especially nice on your lips. Over time, I strayed away from using it on my cheeks and start only apply to my lips.
Overall, I was most impressed with using it on my lips. I'm a pretty low maintenance person (I rarely wear gloss or lipstick) so to have something that gives a natural color, stays put, and doesn't feel all sticky is great.
