What it is: Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
What they say: Say hello to clean pores! Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips instantly provide the deepest clean by lifting away deep down dirt. In just one use, pore strips are twice as effective as the leading pore cleanser at getting rid of pore-clogging build-up, dirt and oil that can cause blackheads.
How to use: Remove strip & twist to loosen. After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to nose area, smooth side down & press down. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center.
What I think: I don't remember every worrying about my pores when I was younger, but lately I noticed that they seemed bigger, darker - I'm not sure. (Though, I'm surprised I even noticed given that my eyesight keeps getting worse).
I decided to try a pore strip for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect. The only thing I could think of was Anne Hathaway's character in the Princes Diaries where she rips it off and tries not to scream in pain.
Nevertheless, I wet, applied, dried and removed. Maybe my pores aren't as bad as I think they are or maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but there wasn't much on the strip. No black notes, just some small white dots (of what I'm assuming was gunk in my pores).
Underwhelmed I didn't use them again for a while until I finally committed to using them once a week until I ran out.
Again, there wasn't much but I did notice that my pores seemed a little smaller and my nose wasn't quite as shiny and oily as usual.
Overall, I'm not sure if I'd use them again personally. But if you have an issue with blackheads on your nose, I definitely think these would help out a lot.
