Beauty // Crest 3D White Supreme FlexFit Whitestrips Review + GIVEAWAY & COUPON [CLOSED]

What it is: Crest 3D White Supreme FlexFit Whitestrips

What they say: Unleash a brilliantly dimensional smile. Turn it up to mega-watt with your newest beauty “must have”, Crest 3D White Luxe Whitestrips Supreme FlexFit. Experience our whitest white, as well as $500 professional treatment, but one that you use to whiten teeth at home.

How to use: It is best if you do not brush your teeth immediately before applying strips. Open the pouch and remove the strip. Peel the strips from the backing liner and align with gum line. Press gently for good contact. Fold the rest of strip behind teeth to keep in place. Wear strips for required amount of time, then remove and discard.

What I think: I wore braces two separate times for a combined length of almost 4 years (FOUR YEARS!). Needless to say I was super excited when they finally came off.  So excited that I got the Zoom in-office teeth whitening treatment.

My biggest issue though was that I have super sensitive teeth. The results last up to a year and then require at-home maintenance every 6 months. But I couldn't bring myself to do more than one at-home treatment -- it was just too much for my teeth.

I tried Crest Whitestrips about 6 or 7 years ago, but again, the sensitivity was too much for me to handle. I haven't whitened my teeth since then, but I did pick up a coffee drinking addiction that started to show on my teeth.

When Crest asked me to try the 3D White Supreme FlexFit Whitestrips as part of their 2 Weeks to Your Whitest Smile challenge, I was cautiously excited.

But the formula has changed since I last tried them, and they've started introducing other products, such as Crest 3D White Sensitivity toothpaste and Gentle Routine Whitestrips, that are specially formulated for sensitive teeth.

So, I applied my first whitestrip.

The FlexFit technology provides 30% more coverage to whiten more teeth. They also stretch for superior coverage and improved application.

Since then, it's been nothing but pleasant surprises.

First and foremost, the new whitestrips aren't nearly as bothersome on my sensitive teeth as they used to be several years ago.

In the interest of full disclosure, I took the "after" photos yesterday and still had two more treatments to do. One of the recommendations for sensitive teeth is to do treatments two days in a row, then take a day off.

Additionally, I was surprised by how well they mold to custom fit your smile. I wore them while I got ready for bed and washed my face one day, while I was taking a shower another day, while I was watching TV a different day -- no problems.

Last but not least, another pleasant surprise was how quickly and well they worked. Crest 3D White Supreme FlexFit Whitestrips whiten teeth as well as a $500 in-office professional laser treatment. I started seeing results after just three applications.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, and honestly, day-to-day I really didn't notice a difference. But when I started working on this post and saw the photos side-by-side, I was blown away by how much whiter my teeth had become.

Overall, I was definitely impressed. I plan on keeping the toothpaste as part of my regular routine and will be using the whitestrips in the future for big events.
