You guys may have noticed that I didn't post about Stitch Fix last month. That's because I lost the pictures we took (and still can't find them to this day).
So, this month marks my 9th Stitch Fix box (you can sign up here if you're interested). Overall this box wasn't a favorite of mine and I thought the prices were a little high (but I'm a bargain shopper).
Here's what I got in my box. The pieces ranged from $58 to $78 each for a total of $316. After the $20 styling fee and 25% discount, the whole box could be purchased for $222.
I liked the cut and draping on this cardigan a lot.
It would definitely make a great layering piece (seen here with the sweater & jeans in the box), but I really did not like the coloring.
Overall it was comfy, but I just couldn't see myself actually wearing this.
This is the second month in the a row I've gotten an elbow patch sweater, which I've got to say I kind of like.
I've liked a lot of Market and Spruce items that I've gotten, and this one was no exception. It was comfortable, fit well, and had the cool elbow detailing.
I didn't like this sweater enough for the price though. And a lot of times that's what it really comes down to each month for me.
I have liked every pair of Kut from the Kloth pants that I've received, except this one.
These fit well and were a good coloring, but for some reason they reminded me of Mom jeans.
They didn't seem to fit like pictures of boyfriend jeans I see on celebrities (think Jessica Alba). Honestly, they seemed more like a straight-leg or a tapered ankle pant.
Again, for the price, I couldn't justifying keeping them.
The stylists at Stitch Fix are so good at pinpointing what my style is that they often send me things that are pretty close to items I already own.
Case-in-point, this 41Hawthorn gray skirt. I do have one that's really, really similar (I think from White House Black Market).
The fit was great and the darker gray detailing on the side added a slimming effect, which I liked.
My boyfriend really, really liked this Renee C dress. He makes comments regularly that I only wear A-line dresses and need to wear tighter fitting ones.
However, I HATE a cowl neck. I don't know why, but I did -- can't stand it.
This dress was too clingly for me as well (again, I love the A-lines). So between the neckline and the fit, I just couldn't do it.
So, that was my 9th box! Tell me what you think about Stitch Fix in the comments below. If you're interested in Stitch Fix, you can sign up here!
