What it is: Lindi Skin product line

What they say: The Lindi Skin brand was created in 2003 as the first complete skincare line designed specifically for the unique needs of people undergoing cancer treatment.

Its safe, gentle, clinically-proven line of skincare is perfect for anyone with compromised skin and its calming, spa like packaging and wide range of products is gaining a following of savvy beauty consumers across the population spectrum who want to use the best healing and protective products to restore their skin.

What I think: My skin has been all over the place lately to the point where I'm not seeing an aesthetician regularly.

She'd probably cringe knowing that I'm trying out products, but when I learned that Lindi Skin products were originally created to address the needs of cancer patients, I know it would be a very gentle, yet effective formula.

I got a chance to try the Face Wash, Face Serum, Eye Hydrator and Lip Balm. While I liked them all, my favorites were definitely the face serum and eye hydrator.

Face Wash -- This is a very, very gentle face wash that does not suds or lather up at all, which means you're not going to get that tight, striped skin feeling after washing. One pump is all you need to cover your face and get a good clean. My skin even felt a little dewy after use. My only complaint is that the product is a little runny.

Face Serum -- This was one of my favorite products. I've dabbled with serums before but don't usually have good outcomes because I feel like they never soak in and my face always feels slick. Not with this one! Again, one pump is all you need to cover your face. It has a nice light lavender scent that was appreciated before bed (like aromatherapy!) and it soaked in within 5-10 minutes. My face felt hydrated and supple without being slick or leaving a grease mark on my pillowcase.

Eye Hydrator -- This was another favorite of mine. I've really been loving gel-creams for my face so I was excited to see that this product was also a gel consistency instead of the regular thick eye cream. A little goes a long way to keep your eyes look refreshed. It doesn't irritate the sensitive skin around the eye, but helps your skin feel more hydrated.

Lip Balm -- This reminded me a lot of little lip balm pots I used as a kid. It's very hydrating without feeling sticky or thick. It doesn't really have a strong scent, which is OK with me because I'm usually scent adverse. My only issue was that it took a few applications to get enough product out of the pot.

Overall, I was impressed with all four products. I think my favorite thing about them is that they are all produced in the USA -- specifically in Pennsylvania, a mere 2.5 hours from where I live (PA represent!). Most importantly, the line is a supporter of the American Cancer Society.
