I kind of, sort of live in the middle of nowhere... Which can be nice some times - no traffic, easy access to farm fresh produce, close to my family, etc.
On the downside though, there are very few opportunities to dress up when you live in the country. So I try to take every opportunity when it arises whether it's a nice work event or a date night.
There's a very good chance that I'll be overdressed, but as Oscar Wilde once said: "You can never be overdressed or over-educated."
As you may have noticed between last week's post & this week's post, blue is my favorite color. I loved the detail in this Theia dress from the different shades of blue to the metallic accents.
I recently learned about about Rent the Runway's new Unlimited program, which lets you rent three designer accessories at a time for $99 a month. You can swap out the items as many time as you like in a month.
This seemed like the perfect opportunity to try out some nice accessories for a date night in this Theia dress. So I chose this Badgley Mischka Jewelry to add a little sparkle and a structured white Botkier bag to balance out the dress-y factor.
Sometimes you have to get dressed up just for the hell of it, even if the occasion isn't a super fancy function. It's nice to feel pretty and wear pretty things!
