Samantha Chic: Unboxing // July 2015 Birchbox review

Unboxing // July 2015 Birchbox review

Time for the July Birchbox rundown. This month, you got a chance to choose between three Stila liquid lipstick shades. I actually wasn't that excited about it and didn't plan on choosing, until I realized everyone was getting the sample no matter what.

So I picked the Venezia (peachy-pink shade), but, boy, is it ever bright. It comes out more of an orange color (you'll see in some future blog posts), and it definitely has staying power.

While it lasted for a very long time and took some scrubbing to get off, I wasn't a fan of how dry it felt on my lips, which I know is part of it being matte.

If you're new to Birchbox, it's an online monthly subscription box that sends you 4 to 5 samples of beauty, hair, skin, and lifestyle products based on your profile questionnaire.

It costs $10 a month and includes hundreds of different brands -- both well known and up-and-coming.

Here's a look inside...

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray | This volumizing spray adds body, lift, and medium hold to any style. TIP: Spritz generously through damp hair to style or in dry hair to set your 'do.

COOLA SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray | Weightless, matte-finish mist that sets your look, hydrates skin, and blocks UV rays.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid | This ultra light-weight, ceramide-packed treatment calms and deeply hydrates skin.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer | This alcohol-free toner -- packed with botanicals -- soothes and hydrates all skin types.

Stila Look at Me Liquid Lipstick | This creamy formula glides on like a gloss yet lasts (and lasts and lasts) like a stain.
So that's my July box! Remember in-depth posts come each Friday.
