What it is: Farmacy Beauty Hydrating Coconut Gel Masks

What they say: Coconut gel provides intensive hydration and restores the skin’s balance. Next the bio-cellulose sheet releases its complex of components to provide the skin’s surface layers with a penetrating surge of active ingredients.

How to use:  Cleanse and tone the skin. Remove the mask from the sachet and unfold completely. The mask is placed between two sheets of protective mesh. Remove one side.

Now place the exposed mask side on your face and smooth over surface, then remove the other protective mesh. Leave the mask on for 20-25 minutes for the best results. Remove the mask and gently massage excess formula into the skin.

What I think: Guys, this product is brand new... I mean BRAND NEW! It just hit Sephora's shelves today! But I got to preview one of these Farmacy Beauty masks before they hit shelves to tell you what I think.

This year is the year I really started to get into mask. I'm not on the multi-masking trend level, but I have a few in rotation now. Nothing though is easier than the sheet mask.

This new brand -- Farmacy Beauty -- focuses on using farm-grown, hand-picked botanicals in their masks. They come in six specialized formulations: Brightening, Deep Moisture, Soothing, Firming, Oil Control, and Anti-Wrinkle.

I got a chance to try the firming mask, which is activated by flavonoid-rich celery extract. I used it one night while soaking in the bathtub after a particularly long day.

The hardest part of the whole mask was separating the layers. I didn't actually realize you needed to do that at first until I put the mask on and noticed it felt a lot thicker than others. Then I checked back over the instructions.

Once you do that though, simply position it on your face and relax.

This mask tended to adhere and stay in place much better than others I've tried. Even with the hot air and steam from the bath it didn't slide around at all.

It feel cool and calming on my skin, and the products soaked in pretty well. There's actually a lot of product on the masks so about halfway through I flipped it over to deliver even more ingredients onto my skin.

I left the mask on for about 20 minutes. After I removed it, I patted in the rest of the product, which left my face feeling a little tacky for about 20-30 minutes afterwards. Which didn't interfere with anything, it just felt weird.

Immediately after doing the mask I didn't really notice anything. However, the very next day I was shocked by how smooth and supple my face felt. All of my products went on more easily, and my skin looked and felt refreshed even though I haven't been sleeping well.

Overall, I liked these masks a lot and plan on actually buying all six of them to try out the others as well.
