Beauty // Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Peel Sensitive

What it is: Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Peel Sensitive

What they say: Exfoliate and help reduce the appearance of dark spots and discolorations with Juice Beauty’s bestselling, patented GREEN APPLE Peel rich in alpha hydroxy acids. Delivers spa grade exfoliation revealing a brighter looking complexion.

How to use: After cleansing in the evening, apply a generous layer to entire face. Leave on for 10 minutes. (Flushing and tingling are normal.) Rinse well. Follow with your favorite Juice Beauty serum and moisturizer. Use 1-2 times a week at night.

What I think: I don't use peels too often because despite having adult acne, blackheads and breakouts, I do have sensitive skin so a lot of things are a little too harsh. Which is why I was excited to try out this Juice Beauty peel designed specifically for sensitive skin.

Even though I got about 3-4 uses out of my sample, I unfortunately wasn't too impressed with the product.

First off, the sample, at least, came out of the tube as a liquid, which means it went everywhere and was extremely hard to apply. Also, because of the consistency, I'm not sure how you can apply a "generous layer" on your face since it's so runny.

I'm not sure if the consistency is the same for the full size since it appears to come in a tub like container, but right from the bat, this didn't give me a good impression.

Once I was able to apply the product to my face, there was a slight tingling sensation, but it didn't hurt or irritate my skin at all, which is good. The product does have a light scent of green apples, which was also pleasant.

I rinsed off the product after 10 minutes and really didn't notice any difference on my face. I saw in a lot of reviews that people noticed an immediate difference or their face was less oily for 2-3 days after, but I didn't experience this at all.

Overall, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't purchase this product myself, unless they changed the consistency in the future.
