What it is: Oribe Superfine Hair Spray
What they say: A sheer, modern hairspray with medium hold. Oribe designed Superfine to bring new technology to old-style glamour, resulting in flexible, brushable, shiny-soft control. The exclusive ultra-dry finish won't dampen or dull smooth styles.
How to use: Spray through hair where you need light, brushable hold.
This Superfine Hair Spray has a lot of pros to it, but one thing just kind of messed it all up for me (that's also kind of how I felt about Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray).
Overall as a hair spray, I did like this product and I loved, loved, loved the superfine mist. It really does spray and come out differently than any other hairspray that I've tried before (other reviews can be found here and here).
The superfine mist was actually perfect for a lot of hair styles. When I wanted to give my beachy waves some control, but not feel crunchy. When I had a few baby hairs sticking up in a ponytail and didn't want to create a helmet. When I wanted to add some shine to straightened hair without making pieces stick together. You get the point...
It also had a nice scent. It kind of reminded me of a cologne-y type of scent that was a little strong, but not too overpowering. The aerosol can sprayed very smoothly too resulting in very even results wherever you needed them.
However, the one and only thing that turned me off of this Superfine Hair Spray was that one ingredient or something (I wasn't able to figure it out) made my head and neck absolutely itch to no end.
Every single time I used this hairspray, I would just itch and itch and itch all day. I'd come home, wash my hair, go a few days without it, then come back to it and itch all over again.
If that itching did not occur, then I would probably want to invest in this hair spray; however, it was just a little too much for me.
