What it is: Tocca Esfoliante da Corpo in Stella
What they say: Our Stella Esfoliante da Corpo is a gently moisturizing, sugar-based body scrub that contains grape seed oil and crushed olive granules to delicately exfoliate dry skin. Rich in natural oils, the luxurious formula boasts the emollient and healing properties of olive, safflower and grape seed oil that leave the skin feeling soft, supple and delicately scented of Italian blood orange.
How to use: Squeeze a quarter-sized drop into palm or sponge. Massage over body, focusing on rough areas like knees and elbows. Exfoliate two to three times a week.
But exfoliating is a great way to renew the skin as long as you don't overdo it or choose too harsh of products. Tocca's Esfoliant da Corpo is a great way to introduce exfoliating into your routine.
Unlike other products that can contain really large or harsh products that literally scratch away at your skin (or worse - plastic microbeads), this one is sugar based and uses crushed olive granules to gently remove dry skin.
The natural oils means that it's going to be really good for your skin as well infusing some moisture into the newly exposed layers of skin.
I think what I liked most about it though is that while you're massaging the product into your skin it kind of starts to turn to a foam (it reminds me of this Suki facial cleanser I reviewed) so there's really no risk of over-exfoliating and doing damage to your skin.
A little bit of the product went a long way, too, when it came to exfoliating both of my legs, which means you won't have to worry about running out too fast.
Lastly, the scents from Tocca are absolutely divine! I've previously tried their Cleopatra scent in a hand cream and loved it. This one was their Stella scent, which smells of Italian blood orange, and it was just as amazing!
