Samantha Chic: Unboxing // March 2016 Stitch Fix review

Unboxing // March 2016 Stitch Fix review

Another month, another Stitch Fix review... This month marks my 23nd Stitch Fix box (you can sign up here if you're interested), and it's actually the first time in a while I kept an item.

I actually lost the piece of paper that had the prices on them (sorry guys!), but needless to say I didn't keep anything this month.

Mercer Cory Distressed Skinny Jean $68
STATUS: Sent Back

Unfortunately these jeans didn't fit me this month. Usually Stitch Fix is really good about finding pants that fit me so I was a little disappointed. But overall, I don't think I would have kept these anyways because white (0r super light) jeans, for me at least, tend to make me look wider on bottom.

Pixley Olley Knit Dress
STATUS: Sent Back

I liked the cut (obviously, I'm all about the a-line dresses) and the color of this dress was nice (the houndstooth print is a little too sweet for me), but I wasn't blown away so I decided to save this month.

Overall though, it was a pretty good dress. I tend to find that Pixley items are a little on the thinner side when it comes to quality so that's just something to keep in mind.

Stacey Scallop Hem Cut-Out Detail Skirt

So, last summer I believe when this skirt was first posted as a new items on Stitch Fix's Pinterest, I requested it THREE times in the teal color, but never even got my request acknowledged.
I finally sent an email to customer service asking point-blank about the skirt and they said it was completely sold out.

So needless to say, I was extremely disappointed to receive said skirt a year later in a different color (navy).

There really isn't anything wrong with this skirt, but the whole thing rubbed me the wrong way.

RD Style Novallie Split Back Tank
STATUS: Sent Back

I feel like this is similar to the split bank tank last month that I wasn't too fond of really.

There isn't anything wrong with it per say, but I feel like you could easily buy something similar to H&M or Forever 21.

Pixley Waldorf Lasercut Hem Blouse
STATUS: Sent Back

Out of all the items I received, this was the one I was considering keeping the most.

I really like the laser cut detail and the shirt isn't too long (which is usually an issue with me), and I loved the color. But the material just felt so scratchy and cheap that I couldn't bring myself to keep it.

So, that was my 23rd box! Tell me what you think about Stitch Fix in the comments below. If you're interested in Stitch Fix, you can sign up here!
