What they say: Designed with our Antioxidant Complex of Vitamin C & E, Pine Bark Essence, and gentle exfoliating Lipo-Hydroxyl Acid (LHA), this fast absorbing, non-greasy formula turns dull, rough skin into smooth, polished-looking skin with a more radiant, even tone.
How to use: Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
First and foremost, there are so many adjectives in the title, I was a little unsure what all this product did, but the main purposes are to moisturize, even out and brighten skin tone, and provide sun protection.
Typically I wear a moisturizer and a sunscreen each morning (two steps) so the fact that I could combine these into one, definitely interested me.
Unlike applying regularly sunscreen, this product went on smoothly and soaked in within a few minutes. This moisturizer did make my skin look and feel more hydrated. It also seemed to protect well from the sun (I walk outside during my lunch breaks), which is always appreciated, especially now that I live in Cali.
However, it also felt made my face feel a little greasy as the day went on, but it wasn't nearly as bad as applying regular sunscreen. When using this product, I still looked a little "slick” throughout the day.
Mostly, my already oily skin felt like it kept getting oily throughout the day where other moisturizer + sunscreen products I’ve tried provide more of a matte finish, which I prefer.
Overall, I didn’t notice drastic results in the week that I tried it out, but I liked the moisturizer + sunscreen combination and in general, my skin looked and felt a little more hydrated.
If I can get the “slick” feeling under control and/or the formula switches up to fix that, I think it could easily become a staple in my morning routine.
