What it is: OGX Anti-Gravity + Hydration O2 Shampoo

What they say: New for 2016! Escape into the clouds with every use of this lightweight formula. With oxygen technology and cloudberry oil, every moisturizing lather can help your hair transform into the nourished locks you’ve been daydreaming of.

How to use: Apply shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through to ends, then rinse the hair thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with conditioner.

What I think: Hair as light as air? Not quite, but this shampoo did help give my hair more volume and smooth my strands, which is really all a girl with thin, flat hair can ask for!

When I received my March Glamour Popularizer box, I was most excited to try the OGX Anti-Gravity + Hydration O2 Shampoo, because I’ve used other products of theirs before and really liked them.

The shampoo has a nice, light scent that kind of reminds me of a nice day at the beach when a light breeze is blowing and you can smell the ocean.

It does lather up a bit, but only minimally. You’re not going to get a mountain of suds with this shampoo, which is actually a good thing. Minimal lather means there’s less striping of the hair and more moisture retention.

It rinsed out easily and quickly, and left my hair feeling hydrated even before I applied conditioner.

Perhaps the most interesting things about this shampoo is the cloudberry oil, which I had no clue was even a real thing until I received this product.

Apparently, cloudberry oil is popular in places like Norway, Greenland, Iceland, Canada and the United States (Alaska), and is rich in essential fatty acids, which is great for skin and hair products.

After about two weeks of using the shampoo, my hair feels a little bit more bouncy and definitely more hydrated and moisturized. I’m in dire need of a haircut (it’s been months!), but this shampoo has helped to ensure that even without a fresh cut, my strands are staying healthy.

Overall, I really liked this shampoo, but mostly like that it feels higher-end yet is available at everyday places like Target.
